These are kits, not modifications

Two different things, and it matters which one you want.

This page

Accessory kits

Parts we sell to a customer who is modifying their own container. You buy the kit and you do the work. Cactus Containers does not fit them for you, and buying a kit does not get you a modified container.

Custom builds & modifications

Custom fabrication done in-house by our own crew on a container we sell you — doors, windows, insulation, electrical, HVAC, paint and multi-container builds. No kits involved.

If you want us to do the work, you want custom builds. If you're cutting and welding on your own container, keep reading.

Good to know

Straight answers

Does Cactus Containers install these kits?
No. An accessory kit is a part sold to a customer who is doing the work on their own container. Cactus Containers does not fit these kits. If you want us to do the work, that's a custom build — fabrication our own crew performs on a container we sell.
What's the difference between a kit and a modification?
A kit is a product you buy and fit yourself to a container you already own. A modification is fabrication work — doors, windows, insulation, electrical, HVAC, paint, multi-container builds — done in-house by the Cactus Containers crew on a container we sell. Buying a kit does not get you a modified container, and our crew does not use kits to do custom build work.
Why is only one item priced?
Solid Rubber Support Blocks are $20 plus tax if applicable. Everything else on the list isn't priced here yet, and we'd rather not post a number we can't stand behind. Call the Decatur yard at (940) 291-2797 and check before you plan around it.
How do I ask about a kit?
Call the yard nearest you and tell us which kit you're asking about — Decatur (940) 291-2797, Amarillo (806) 557-3508, Midland (432) 423-2507. We'll tell you straight where it stands.

Call and ask

Tell us which kit you're after and we'll give you a straight answer. If you'd rather we did the work on a container we sell you, ask about a custom build instead.
